30-HR Virtual Class, June 10th-14th

  • Starts Jun 10
  • 150 US dollars
  • Classes held virtually via Zoom

Service Description

Please use your email address and not your student's when registering for the class. Please note: you will receive 2 emails after registering for the class. One will be generic telling you "you're all set". The other will contain a link to a form which you must complete and return to complete your child's registration. Until this step is taken and the enrollment fee is paid the registration isn't complete nor is their spot in the class reserved. Please check your spam & junk folders for BOTH emails. Additionally, please add the email address of eric@driverightnc.com to your list of safe/trusted senders in your email account. Each student is required to complete 30 hours of classroom training as well as complete a minimum of 6 hours of Behind The Wheel (BTW) training prior to applying for their NC Limited Learner Permit. 100% attendance is required and breaks will be taken every hour. The cost of the 6-hour BTW training is NOT included with this class and will need to be paid for separately. I am only taking students for both portions. If the student takes the classroom portion, they will also be required to do the Behind the Wheel (BTW) training. The cost for the BTW portion is $450 and can be paid upfront or you can wait until the driving portion is scheduled. Unlike most schools, I don't have a months-long waiting list meaning if your student is already 15 or older they will have the opportunity to drive typically within 1-2 weeks after the classroom portion ends. If they aren't 15 yet, every effort will be made to get the driving portion completed prior to them turning 15. The class will be held virtually via Zoom. Students must have the ability to access the sessions with reliable internet access and on a device other than a smartphone such as a laptop, desktop, or at minimum an I-Pad or similar device with a camera. Students are required to be focused on the class. In past classes I've had to remove students who were observed playing Minecraft, sleeping, walking around the backyard, or out running errands with their parents. Again, failure to attend each session ready to be focused on learning will result in that student's removal from class. This is a NC DMV requirement. There are no "make up" sessions offered so the student would be required to repeat the entire class. For this class students must be at least 15 years old.
